The Sanders Family Chronicles: June 2015

It's been too long since I blogged. I swear each month I'm going to blog sooner so I don't have these huge posts, but that didn't happen... again.

I intended this to be from 4-7 months. Levi turned 7 months on May 23rd. He is almost 8 months now but I will do a separate post for that and try to stay on top of this blogging thing more often.

So, needless to say, time is flying by too fast. Little Levi is healthy and happy and that is all that we could ask for.

Levi has developed some new skills over these last 4 months. Here are some of his favorite things and his new skills:

Walks - He loves his daily walks with his Nonna, weather permitting.
The Beach - He's been about 3-4 times and enjoys the breeze and relaxation it brings.
Sitting Up - He sits up quite well and loves to play with his toys in this new position.
Petting Sully & Lady - He has finally acknowledged them, likes to pat their heads, and lets them give him kisses.
Eating Solids - We made our own for awhile (mainly baked sweet potatoes and roasted butternut squash), but now we buy him some mixed organic foods and he loves them. He still is drinking Momma's milk and eating rice cereal at night too. His first solid was avocado pureed with my milk. Not sure what he thought about it.
Mastering his Exersaucer - He loves this thing and will literally jump and run in place in it for half an hour or longer in the morning.
Sitting on Daddy's Shoulders - This is a lifesaver when he won't go to sleep. Sometimes it's the only thing that calms him down.
Sleeping - I'm probably going to jinx myself by typing this, but he usually goes to bed right after bath time (around 7:30 or 8) and sleeps until about 6-7am. It's been great! (this has changed recently - poor baby started teething and then got sick... I guess I did jinx myself)
Going Out - Levi loves car rides and loves going places with us. He is pretty good at restaurants (and sat in a high chair for the first time) and likes going to the grocery store and home depot.
Bath Time - This is his favorite time of the day. He splashes, tries to roll over, plays with his toys, tries to eat the whale water cup, and laughs during his bath time. After we take him out, he loves to look at himself naked in the mirror and if he doesn't see himself at first because of the way he is turned, he makes it a point to look over my shoulder to see himself. Then he gives a HUGE smile.
