The Sanders Family Chronicles: May 2014

Starting a pregnancy questionnaire this week... Hopefully I can keep up with it

Ignore all the bath products

How far along: 16 weeks
Total weight gain: 7 lbs
Maternity clothes: I do both. I can still wear some of my regular work pants, but am definitely in maternity jeans (and I bought my first pair of maternity spanks) eeee!!!
Stretch marks: None so far
Sleep: Not consistent. I have to pee like every 2 hours plus Lady wakes me up on top of that. This is the first week we have kicked them out of the bedroom though. They don't seem to mind so far.
Best moment of this week: Finding out the gender of our little baby and seeing him hiccup in my belly on the ultrasound.
Miss anything: My ability to sleep for 8 hours straight
Movement: Can't feel anything yet
Food cravings: I bought a pretty large tub of sour punch straws... still craving rice with jalapeno juice also
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really
Have you started to show yet: I have a little bump
Gender: we find out today
Labor signs: No, thank God!
Belly button in or out: In!!! I didn't even know it could pop out.. weird!
Wedding rings on or off: On and surprisingly a little loose.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy at home, moody at work. I get irritated so easily at work!
Looking forward to: Starting to design the baby's nursery

This was a big week for us! It started with David's graduation and is ending in finding out the sex of our baby. (and yay for a long weekend thanks to Memorial Day)

I would say that the majority of people guessed we were having a girl. They were wrong!!!

IT'S A BOY!!

We were so excited to finally find out. We have a few names in mind, but will probably start from scratch to make sure its the perfect one!

Here is our little boy's debut...

We held a Happy Hour at Celtic Garden to celebrate the news with our friends. Natalie is such a great BFF and offered to get cupcakes for us and other cute trinkets. My favorite part was that 1 cupcake had a bowtie on it and another a cowboy boot. She explained that our little boy will be my little gentleman and David's little cowboy! How sweet! The cupcakes were yummy!!

It's David's BIG DAY!! The whole family came out to celebrate David's graduation!

After the ceremony we went to Taste of Texas. David had been talking about it for weeks. All of the guys were excited to get to pick out their own steaks!
