Baby Sanders 12 Weeks and Lady's First Beach Trip!

Phew! I made it through my first trimester! Everyone was telling me what a huge milestone this would be for me. It was almost time to announce it to work and friends

I realized that I am one lucky lady. My first trimester happened to fall right smack dab in the middle of Lent! I was worried my coworkers would get suspicious since I wasn't drinking, but I told them I gave up alcohol for Lent! It was perfect.

My 12 week ultrasound was little stressful since this is my first baby. They do some genetic screening and test for the likelihood of Down Syndrome. I was so relieved when all of my tests returned normal results.

Here is Baby's ultrasound at 12 weeks. It's not very clear (I was very disappointed with the ultrasound technician at this point, but that is a whole other story). Either way, I heard the heartbeat which made me very happy.

One Sunday morning we decided to take the dogs down to the beach. We had been promising it to them and they were upset we hadn't taken them LOL
